Boulder Universal Zero Waste Ordinance

In 2015, Boulder City Council adopted a universal zero waste ordinance that included requirements for homeowners to have trash services, all businesses to have compost and recycling, and all recyclable materials to flow through the Boulder County Recycling Center.
